Week Four Recap

Trash Pandas vs Xandar Guardians

PANDAS WIN! It took until early in the fourth quarter of the Monday Night game, but the Pandas pulled off their first win of 2026.

What Went Right

1- Brock Bowers- Bowers was my number one key to the week and he came through. Won the TE battle by 9. This won’t be the last time I win a game because of Bowers.

2- Ollie Gordon II- A waiver wire add that came through big time. Won the FLEX position by 20 points.

3- Jacob Rodriguez- The rookie LB had a monster game, putting up 21 points and outscoring my opponent by 10.

4- New York Giants defense- The pick 6 to seal their victory might have been the difference in my matchup. Outscored my opponent by 13.

What Went Wrong

1- Chase Brown & Jahmyr Gibbs- Brown was listed as one of my keys for this one. He wasn’t terrible and neither was Gibbs, but they were both rather pedestrian. Kenneth Walker III outscored them by 10 on his own.

2- Michael Penix Jr- QB continues to be a problem for the Pandas. I added Penix via waivers and I still haven’t broken 20 at the position. His late TD pass on Monday night did give me the win, though.

3- Luther Burden III- Burden was another one of my keys. He wasn’t terrible just average. Only one double digit output from my WRs so far this season.

Ollie Gordon II went from waiver wire to pacing my team with 21 points.

Week Five Preview

Trash Pandas vs Lanc Lanc Underdawgs

Projected Lineups & Reserves

Tough matchup for the Pandas as we try to keep the momentum up this week. Bye weeks starting as well. I’m a significant underdog in this one.

Keys to Victory

1- Jahmyr Gibbs & Chase Brown- I have a distinct advantage at RB that is offset by an equally distinct disadvantage at WR. I don’t need Gibbs & Brown to just win the RB matchup but to make up the deficit from WR.

2- Luther Burden III & Roman Wilson- As I said, I’m at a distinct disadvantage at WR. I’m not expecting mine to play level with Chase & St. Brown, what I need is for them to outscore my opponent’s RBs.

3- Brock Bowers- This will be the only week that Bowers doesn’t give me a distinct advantage as I’m going up against Trey McBride. This is a heavyweight fight. If Bowers can win it, I could pull off the upset.

4- Michael Penix Jr- I’m rolling with Penix again. Still looking for a good week out of my QBs. I hope Penix can stay within 10 of Goff.
