Trash Pandas vs Mike’s Magnificent Team

This was a bad week for the Pandas.

My running backs were down significantly from week one, but Jahmyr Gibbs & Chase Brown still handily won the matchup. The only other position I won was Carson Schwesinger at LB.

At least Xavier Worthy & Oronde Gadsden scored touchdowns, and Chase McLaughlin, had a nice game, despite losing the kicker battle.

My team continues to be hampered by the absence of tight end, Brock Bowers and the putrid play of quarterback Justin Herbert. Bowers should return this week, hopefully, but Herbert’s schedule just gets tougher and I have little hope for a replacement.

Week Three Preview

Trash Pandas vs Furry’s Felines

We’re reaching must win territory with the Pandas. I’ve really been hampered by the loss of Bowers, to go along with the poor play of Herbert.

Pretty even matchup, on paper. I’m a very slight favorite.

Keys to Victory

1- Brock Bowers- I desperately need my second round pick back on the field and doing his thing. I probably couldn’t have won this past week, but I easily could have in week one with him in the lineup.

2- Justin Herbert- This has been the real anchor weighing me down. Herbert had two plus matchups to start the season and has had two massive duds. I’m not sure how far the Pandas can go with an inept fantasy quarterback.

3- Xavier Worthy- Kansas City has a plus matchup against Miami this week. Worthy found the end zone this week, it would be nice to see that again. Double digit points shouldn’t be too much to ask for.

4- Jahmyr Gibbs & Chase Brown- I have a clear advantage at RB and both have pretty good matchups. These two, alone, could carry me to victory.
