Week 5 NFL Picks

Last Week: 8-8 / 5-11

Season: 41-23 / 32-32

San Francisco 49ers @ Los Angeles Rams (-6.5)

I expect the Rams to start taking control of the NFC West with this game.

Rams 27-20

Minnesota Vikings @ Cleveland Browns (+3.5)

This game is in London. Because they stayed overseas this week, I think the Vikings have the advantage.

MIN 17-16

Houston Texans (-2.5) @ Baltimore Ravens

The Texans benefit from Baltimore’s nightmare season. If Lamar Jackson could play this pick would be different.

HOU 23-13

New York Giants @ New Orleans Saints (-1.5)

Saints have fought hard all season, they’ll be rewarded with their first victory against an overconfident New York.

NO 24-20

Denver Broncos @ Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)

Denver is no match for Philly on the road.

PHI 23-17

Dallas Cowboys @ New York Jets (+2.5)

Dallas is a different team on the road. The Jets will take advantage of a porous defense to get their first win.

NYJ 34-31

Las Vegas Raiders (+6.5) @ Indianapolis Colts

Indy should bounce back from their first loss, but Vegas will keep it close.

IND 24-20

Miami Dolphins @ Carolina Panthers (-1.5)

Miami is coming off their first win, Carolina is coming off an ugly loss. Still I like the Panthers.

CAR 20-17

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5) @ Seattle Seahawks

Seattle has a chance to establish themselves as legitimate contenders and they will.

SEA 24-23

Tennessee Titans (+7.5) @ Arizona Cardinals

Getting the lowly Titans at home is exactly what Arizona needs to end their 2 game skid.

ARZ 17-13

Washington Commanders @ Los Angeles Chargers (-2.5)

The Chargers will bounce back from a terrible loss.

Chargers 27-20

Detroit Lions (-10.5) @ Cincinnati Bengals

This one will get ugly, fast. Detroit rolls.

DET 42-10

New England Patriots (+7.5) @ Buffalo Bills

Patriots aren’t quite ready to slay the dragon, but they’ll put up a decent fight versus Buffalo.

BUF 30-24

Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) @ Jacksonville Jaguars

It certainly appears as if the Chiefs are back. I cannot pick against them.

KC 27-20

BYES

Chicago Bears
Atlanta Falcons
Green Bay Packers
